Prom Special 2010: Shari Power

Diva darling ─Shari Power celebrated her prom in style and stride at Michael Waltrip Raceworld located in Cornelius, North Carolina. The 17 year old glamista wore a sleek strapless satin black and white dress by B.Darlin paired with Barcelona red─ Steve Madden pumps. Her neck was draped in a dainty necklace by Belks. Power described her look for the night as “classy yet bold”, a true Carrie (SATC) replica. When it came to her vehicle of choice, Shari went for a fresh/sporty set of wheels, arriving in a Charcoal grey 2009 Jetta GLI. Her most memorable part of the night─ “When the ENTIRE student body got up to dance to "Shotz" by LMFAO”, states Power,while the highlight of the night was when─ “ 34 students either got arrested or received citations for underage drinking” ─Ouch!. Once prom was over Shari and friends kept it simple but adventurous, they hung out and went to an amusement park in the morning. After high school this class of 2010 graduate plans to attend ─The Art Institute in Charlotte, NC. When asked about her long term goal─ “I want to pursue something with art or travel. The question is "What" though?- she replies with a smile.

17 year old aspiring fashion designer ─Nykarlio Ferguson has the perfect aesthetic milieu for his vivaciously chic designs. Growing up in the scenic─Nassau, Bahamas─ Fergusons' sketching aptitude developed naturally as a child, while attending elementary school. Nykarlio is branded by the designer name ─June Woods, which stemmed from his birth month; he is presently finishing up his last year of high school in the Bahamas and plans on sharpening his design skills, while pursuing a college degree. Ferguson draws a liking for celebrity fashion designer ─Sean John and his knack at creating sartorially stylish ─men and women’s clothing. Nykarlio depicts his personal style as a blend of─ “prep and high fashion”. He commends his mom for being his role model and key encouragement. Aside from designing, Ferguson exercises his athleticism by partaking in track & field , his future prospect ─“to become an international designer and help out in different charities”. Sounds like a Fashion Mogul in the Making.
