store me,

Nothing beats having a pretty storage piece, and an ottoman is the perfect choice. Not only is it comfy for resting your feet but you can store magazines, books, etc inside for a neat yet chic look. I was on Target's site today and found three  patterned styles that I would play up my home décor with.

1. Threshold™ Single Square Storage Ottoman - Blue and White Chevron
2. Square Storage Ottoman Pink
3. Round Tufted Storage Ottoman - Gold

click flash,

Mod cloth has the most adorable pair of Camera ear buds and with Instagram being the #1 social network (which is revolved around photos). I thought these trendy earrings would be something flashy for your ear.

lip line,

a. b.

Dark lip color is a beauty trend I have been daring to try. It is all about making a bold and glamorous statement this fall 2013, and your lips should be the essential candidate for just that. MAC launched a new collection, Indulge; and my two lipstick picks are super cheeky. They say the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice, and these berry hues make a sweet duo.

 a. Sweet Succulence
 b. Just A Bite

autumn arrivals,

This Sunday, September 22 marked the first day of fall and the first day to bring out poppy prints. Neiman Marcus has some amazing mid length dresses to get this fall party started. I selected each print by its bold hues and figure enhancing patterns.

1. Nanette Lepore Fun House mix print dress
2. Mara Hoffman Caravan printed shirt dress
3. Tracy Reese beaded v-neck printed dress.

leather up,

Tonight I celebrated my longtime friend and style blogger birthday, Aly of rightupyouralyy.com, and it was a vintage delight. We had dinner at Vintage Bar & Grill in Jericho, NY and the setting was just that. Cream and white motif, with chandeliers dangling gracefully, antique wood finishes, with brassy gold mirrors to describe a pop of the décor. My look for the night resembled a comparison, cream shirt with jeweled embellishments, and a black faux leather skirt. This style turned on my leather skirt radar, and the fall calls for feminine tops paired with edgy bottoms.

a. Alice and Olivia metallic stretch skirt
b. Carven A-line leather skirt

dream case,

For as long as I could recollect, I have wanted a bookshelf for my countless stack of fashion and beauty magazines.  I was browsing Pinterest and pinned a room that brought my vision to life. It was a bedroom with built-in bookshelves covering the walls. This concept would be so perfect, because my bedroom is currently my office space and my fashion magazines are my resources, how dreamy would that be?

electric feel,

As much as I love stylish accessories─ bracelets, earrings and so forth, I have an even bigger admiration for fashionably tech items as well. On my list of purchases is a trendy yet sleek pair of headphones, these (a) Frends ‘Layla Gold Headphones’ are super compatible to my description and what makes them more likable; they are named after my darling daughter.  My second item is a patent python (b) Micheal Michael Kors iphone casethe luxe finish is all I need to keep my ‘girl genius’(my iphones name) covered in chic!

pretty picks,

I was compiling together my beauty post when I decided to visit one of my preferred sites─ Sephora. I was drawn to the What’s New section, and picked three items that I would love to discover the beauty benefits of. A clean perfume to freshen up my senses, a gel mask for weekend facials and neon pink brush set for a ultra feminine eye makeup application.

pink berry,

Sporty with a spice of edge is a look that I wouldn’t mind covering this fall. The biker jacket is a timeless piece and when designed in vibrant pink color, creates a bad girl meets good girl approach. Pairing it with a matching wedge sneaker completes the look; making it pretty cool and stylish.

1. Pierre Balmain ribbed biker jacket,farfetch.com
2. Nike 'Dunk Sky Hi' wedge sneaker, Nordstrom

winter white,

Seems like the rules of fashion have been broken, floral is not just for spring and white can be worn after Labor Day. My feelings on the new rules; I concur. Topshop takes heed to this by displaying two white floral pants, both exuding chic elegance. Each pair is blazer or blouse worthy and bound to make a winter fashion statement.

double love.

After a super long, productive and exhausting day, I was able to stitch together two lovely décor pieces. I titled it “double love”, one because floral is my new beloved print and two, elephants are the love of my life “my grandmother”, favorite animal. Both items are available at urbanoutfitters.com.

1. 3X5 floral stripe printed rug
2. 2x3 elephant rug

ear bloom,

Dolce and Gabbana budded the most gorgeous pair of drop earrings; one was inspired by the Italian heritage and the other floral elegance. Both earrings are adorned with gold plated embellishments, making them a stunning duo. My take on the chic pair: rocking them with unconventional wear; denim jeans and a pretty blouse, for an effortless effect.

curl collective,

I am presently searching for a curl enhancer, I pretty much blogged or researched all the top brands, specifically for natural hair, like Shea Moisture, Kinky Curly, Mixed Chicks and more. However, tonight I encountered something new, a potential curly candidate, known to turn tangles into tendrils, Bumble and Bumble curl conscious shampoo and conditioner. Of course, I am more interested in the conditioner (hence co-washing); and a collective set would give my curls the ultimate enhancment.

style mail,

Today I received a stylish Labor Day gift, well not exactly a gift, but it felt like it. My aunt emailed me a pair of fuchsia beauties; Sergio Rossi Suede Flare cutout-back pumps. What shoe-struck me the most was the headline for the shoe,
“showstoppers”, which they most certainly are!

fall black,

Summer officially closes shop tomorrow and the fall takes its good mark. Fashion Week in New York is in lieu and the chic black attires are full force. I was on Chictopia.com, the ultimate personal style destination, when I found this edgy yet posh get-up. It’s the idyllic starter look for a fall to remember. In addition, check out the vintage pair of Jeffrey Campbell lace up boots that mirrored this look.

light beam,

Paper lightening has been my main attraction lately. I was in Michaels over the weekend and seen so many styles, particularly by Martha Stewart, that enthused my aesthetic.  IKEA happened to have a dandelion inspired, Maskros Pendant Lamp, that mirrored my muse and I am loving it. After researching this whimsy masterpiece, I found a site that captured all the various rooms that delighted there space with this pretty light fixture, click here.

flatten up,

One fall accessory I cannot step out without is a chic flat. One that pairs well with slacks or a pencil skirt. I usually ooh and awe over J.Crew flats, but I have found some runner-ups. Kate Spade has a pair of luxe leopard flats with a tassel and RED Valentina blossomed a power pink pair of flats with mini floral embellishments. Both are worth adding some prep in my step.

marc hue,

Not only am I loving Marc Jacobs Beauty make-up, but his hi-shine nail polish hues are just as electrifying. Fall does not require dark tones at all times, a hi-def hue can be upbeat and chic. I like pairing cheeky colors with mixed patterns and prints, which I plan on wearing a lot of this autumn. And it would be nice to incorporate a Marc nail hue. visit www.sephora.com for more shades.

1. opaque chartreuse yellow
2. opaque muted hot pink
3. mandarin orange
4. opaque eggplant purple

botanical garden,

Floral prints are sprouting up everywhere in head to toe looks; and I am loving it. RED Valentino designed an enchanting taffeta party dress that would bloom in any room, while Acne arranged a garden chic pump to follow. If I had to attend a floral festival, I would not mind pairing the two, both prints are complimentable.

coat check,

Earlier today, I posted a photo of a shabby chic pink coat and black pointy toe pumps courtesy of designer Milly Smith on my instagram (@beenalabella_com). This fashionable image stirred my winter mood. I was scouting shopbop.com (once again) for some coat selections when I came across their lookbook titled, color coated. The three looks captured were all mixed with three rudiments: color, layering, and feminine sparkle. I always pick looks I could see myself clad in, and these three would definitely be on my check list.

sunny side,

Even on the gloomiest days, color can brighten your day.  Yellow is one of those tones that lifts your spirits and stimulates your inner cheerfulness. I was on Urbanoutfitters.com and saw two bathroom accessories that complimented my color subject. The daisy mat was super dainty and girlish, while the zigzag shower curtain displays my love for patterns.

bag bouquet,

My floral infatuation has extended into the fall season. I am looking for accessories and garments that capture autumn flower tones. In addition, I would not mind carrying a bouquet around to complete my look, well not an actual bouquet but a bag inspired by my new love. I found two soft envelope clutch bags by Sophie Hulme. I couldn't decide on just one flower style, so I picked two, either way I found my bag bouquet.

1. Sophie Hulme floral clutch envelope bag
2. Sophie Hulme floral-printed convertible clutch bag

line up,

With seasonal change comes seasonal make-up. Summer palettes are brighter and glowy while fall hues are darker, edgier and more polished. I happen to be a fan of exaggerated eyeliner, natural or cat-eye works for me. The fall 2013 runway captured both looks, and I’m ready to line up my eye lids in lieu of it all.
